Golden vessels and far-sea cargo

21All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Silver was not considered anything in the days of Solomon.

22For the king had ships of Tarshish at sea with Hiram’s ships. Once every three years the ships of Tarshish would come, carrying gold and silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.
