Open this scene in the reader →15Even before they burned the fat, the priest’s servant would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, “Give meat for the priest to roast, for he will not take boiled meat from you, but only raw.”
16And the man would say to him, “Let them first burn the fat today, and then take for yourself whatever your soul desires.” But he would say to him, “No, you must give it now; and if not, I will take it by force.”
17So the sin of the young men was very great before Yahweh, because the men despised Yahweh’s offering.
