14But the grace of our Lord overflowed all the more, with faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

15The saying is trustworthy and worthy of full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

16But for this reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Christ Jesus might display all his patience as a pattern for those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
