Graphic Bible · Scene 6 of 11

Anonymous hands shield a small burning clay oil lamp in a shaded courtyard.
Artwork is an interpretation. Scripture is quoted from the People's Open Bible.

2 John 1:8

Watch What Has Been Worked For

Walk in Truth and Love; Remain in the Teaching · 2 John 1

Story guide: Hands sheltering a small flame picture vigilance over something tended. The lamp is a visual metaphor for guarding the work, not a depiction of the promised reward.
