Open this scene in the reader →14But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard, they tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out,
and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, bringing you good news to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them.”
In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.
Yet he did not leave himself without witness, doing good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.
Even by saying these things, they barely restrained the crowds from sacrificing to them.
