Open this scene in the reader →3I am a Jewish man, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, educated according to the strictness of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God just as all of you are today.
4I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering both men and women into prisons,
5as also the high priest and the whole council of elders can testify for me. From them I also received letters to the brothers in Damascus, and I was traveling there to bring also those who were there, bound, to Jerusalem so that they might be punished.
