Open this scene in the reader →8The Lord GOD has sworn by himself—oracle of Yahweh, the God of Armies: I abhor the pride of Jacob, and I hate his citadels; and I will hand over the city and all that fills it.
9And it will happen that if ten men remain in one house, they will die.
10Then his uncle, the one who burns him, will carry him out to bring the bones out of the house, and he will say to the one who is in the innermost part of the house, “Is there still anyone with you?” And he will say, “No one.” Then he will say, “Hush! For we must not mention the name of Yahweh.”
11For behold, Yahweh commands, and the great house will be struck into fragments, and the small house into pieces.
