To the holy and faithful brothers in Messiah at Colossae: grace to you and peace from God our Father.
We always give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have for all the saints,
because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which you heard before in the word of truth, the gospel
which has come to you, just as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and growing, just as also among you, from the day you heard and came to know the grace of God in truth.
just as you learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of the Messiah on our behalf,
and who also made known to us your love in the Spirit.
