What profit does the worker gain from his labor?

I have seen the task that God has given humanity to be occupied with.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God has done from beginning to end.

I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their lives.

And also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy good in all his labor—this is God's gift.

I know that whatever God does will endure forever; there is nothing to add to it, and there is nothing to take from it. God has done it so that they may fear before him.

What is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God seeks what is pursued.
