Your right hand, O Yahweh, is majestic in power; your right hand, O Yahweh, shatters the enemy.

And in the greatness of your majesty you overthrow those who rise up against you; you send out your burning anger; it consumes them like stubble.

At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up; the flowing waters stood like a heap; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.

The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword; my hand will dispossess them.’

You blew with your wind; the sea covered them. They sank like lead in mighty waters.
