Graphic Bible · Scene 3 of 3

Exodus 24:12-18. Into the cloud. Moses walks uphill on a solid visible rocky mountain path into mist. Both his sandals and the staff tip visibly contact rock; he is not flying or levitating. Joshua stands on the lower ledge watching him, camp tiny in the distant valley. Show rock directly underneath Moses with mist around his shoulders, no cloud underneath his feet. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.

12Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets, and the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”

13So Moses arose with Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

14And to the elders he said, “Wait here for us until we return to you. And look, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever has a dispute, let him approach them.”

15Then Moses went up onto the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

16And the glory of Yahweh settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moses from the midst of the cloud.

17And the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the sons of Israel.

18Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
