Graphic Bible · Scene 10 of 11

Exodus 8:26-26. A plea outside the palace. Moses alone outside the Egyptian palace after leaving Pharaoh, earnestly praying for removal of the flies. Elder Moses matches reference with long white hair and beard, crimson mantle and cream robe. Three-quarter medium close view, eyes lifted, one open hand raised near chest and the other grasping his natural gnarled wooden staff. Ochre exterior wall softly in shadow and blue sky, ordinary daylight. Several naturally small flies still visible around his robe and against the wall, no magical light, no visible deity. No Aaron or Pharaoh in frame. Quiet resolve, hand-inked tactile gouache, coherent fingers and no lettering. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.
