Graphic Bible · Scene 4 of 11

Exodus 8:9-11. Relief and refusal. After Moses prays, unnamed Egyptian laborers gather dead frogs into heaps along an ochre mudbrick street. Several modest heaps of small natural green-brown frogs, no gore. One worker uses a simple wooden shovel, another carries a shallow reed basket; a bystander covers nose with linen. Doorways and household clay jars, warm daylight, Egyptian linen work clothing. Clear aftermath and unpleasant stench conveyed through human reaction. No Moses, Aaron, Pharaoh, divine light, letters or speech bubbles. Ground-level wide narrative composition, hand-inked graphic novel with textured muted watercolor matching prior panels. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.

9And the LORD did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courtyards, and out of the fields.

10And they piled them up in heap after heap, and the land stank.

11But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, just as Yahweh had said.
