Graphic Bible · Scene 1 of 12

Exodus 9:1-5. A warning for the herds. Moses delivers the livestock plague warning before Pharaoh inside the established Egyptian audience hall. Exactly two main figures. Moses in crimson and cream with long white hair and beard stands at left in three-quarter view, his own gnarled staff upright in one hand, the other making a solemn restrained gesture. Pharaoh in blue-and-gold nemes and white pleated linen sits right listening with a tense skeptical face. Use palace reference architecture only, no Aaron or others copied from it. Medium close encounter framed across the shallow throne platform and a single painted cylindrical column. Natural daylight, quiet warning before the affliction; no dead animals or insects here. Ancient Bronze Age setting, hand-inked gouache, no lettering. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.
Artwork is an interpretation. Scripture is quoted from the People's Open Bible.

1Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of the Hebrews: Let my people go, so that they may serve me.'"

2For if you refuse to let them go and still hold on to them,

3Look, the hand of Yahweh will come upon your livestock that are in the field—upon the horses, the donkeys, the camels, the herds, and the flocks—with a very severe plague.

4But Yahweh will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that nothing belonging to the sons of Israel will die.

5And Yahweh set a time, saying, “Tomorrow Yahweh will do this thing in the land.”
