Graphic Bible · Scene 7 of 12

Exodus 9:20-21. Those who heed the warning. Before the hail, an Egyptian household urgently brings servants and livestock under shelter after heeding the warning. A man in plain white linen leads a healthy brown cow by a loose rope halter through a wide mudbrick stable doorway. A woman in a simple undyed linen dress beckons two adult workers inside; another worker ushers a pair of sheep. All fully clothed and ancient Egyptian appearance, no royal jewelry. Wide perspective from just inside the shaded stable looking toward the bright farmyard and distant fields where a few small livestock remain outside. No rain or hail falling yet, no dead animals. Movement and urgency conveyed with natural walking poses, coherent ropes and animal legs. No Moses, Aaron, Pharaoh, modern tools or text. Tactile hand-inked gouache graphic novel. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.
