Ezekiel 39:12-13

Seven months of burial

Gog’s Defeat and Israel Gathered · Ezekiel 39

Story guide: This is a disclosed prophetic oracle, not a documentary depiction of a known war or modern nation. Gog and named peoples are not mapped to current identities. Severe violence, burial, and animal-feast wording remains in Scripture; imagery uses restrained landscape and symbolic objects without exploitative bodies. Yahweh and the Spirit are not anthropomorphized. The seven months of burial in the text are distinct from the seven years of fuel; neither is shown as an observed chronology.

13All the people of the land will bury them, and it will be to their renown on the day I glorify myself, declares the Lord GOD.
