Ezekiel 39:18-20

The severe feast oracle

Gog’s Defeat and Israel Gathered · Ezekiel 39

Story guide: This is a disclosed prophetic oracle, not a documentary depiction of a known war or modern nation. Gog and named peoples are not mapped to current identities. Severe violence, burial, and animal-feast wording remains in Scripture; imagery uses restrained landscape and symbolic objects without exploitative bodies. Yahweh and the Spirit are not anthropomorphized.

18You will eat the flesh of mighty men, and you will drink the blood of the princes of the earth—rams, lambs, male goats, and bulls, all of them fattened ones of Bashan.

19You will eat fat until you are full, and you will drink blood to drunkenness, from my sacrifice that I have sacrificed for you.

20And you will be filled at my table with horse and chariot, mighty man and every man of war, declares the Lord GOD.
