Ezekiel 45:10-12

Honest measures

The Holy Portion and Just Leadership · Ezekiel 45

Story guide: The land allotment and sanctuary are Ezekiel’s prophetic vision, not an authoritative cadastral map or historical reconstruction. Exact cubits, measures, dates, animal counts, and offering details remain in the canonical POB text. Yahweh is not portrayed bodily; animal offerings are shown in non-exploitative preparation, never slaughter or exposed blood.

10You must have honest scales, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.

11The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, so that the bath may hold a tenth of a homer, and the ephah a tenth of a homer; their standard shall be according to the homer.

12And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall be your mina.
