Open this scene in the reader →11Therefore, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, surely because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, I also will diminish you; my eye will not spare, and I also will show no pity.
12A third of you will die by pestilence and be consumed by famine in your midst, and a third will fall by the sword all around you, and a third I will scatter to every wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
13So my anger will be spent, and I will cause my wrath to rest on them, and I will be comforted. Then they will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken in my jealousy, when I spend my wrath against them.
