Messiah lives in me

Freedom and the Shared Table · Galatians 2

Story guide: Paul’s confession of being crucified with Christ and living by faith is represented by a window shadow, not a second crucifixion or visible indwelling.

19For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Messiah.

20And it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

21I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Messiah died for nothing.
