These are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s servant woman, bore to Abraham.

And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam.

Mishma, Dumah, and Massa.

Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.

These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their settlements and by their encampments: twelve princes according to their peoples.

These were the years of Ishmael’s life: one hundred and thirty-seven years. And he breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people.

They settled from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt as you go toward Asshur. He settled opposite all his brothers.
