Graphic Bible · Scene 2 of 3

Hebrews 1:5-9
The name above angels
God has spoken · Hebrews 1
Story guide: The quotations distinguish the Son from the angels. An empty royal seat illustrates the language of kingship, not a literal view of heaven.
Open this scene in the reader →5For to which of the angels did he ever say, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you”? And again, “I will be to him a father, and he will be to me a son”?
6And when he again brings the Firstborn into the world, he says, “And let all God’s angels worship him.”
7And about the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”
8But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.”
9You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.
