For thus says Yahweh: Your fracture is incurable; your wound is grievous.

There is no one to plead your case for your wound; there is no healing for you, no remedy.

All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you. For I have struck you with the wound of an enemy, with cruel discipline, because of the greatness of your iniquity; your sins are numerous.

Why do you cry out over your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because your iniquity is great, because your sins are many, I have done these things to you.

Therefore all who devour you will be devoured, and all your adversaries, every one of them, will go into captivity; those who plunder you will become plunder, and all who prey on you I will give up to prey.

For I will bring healing to you, and I will heal you from your wounds, declares Yahweh, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion; no one cares for her.’
