Love and rebuilding

At that time, declares Yahweh, I will be God to all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.

Thus says Yahweh: The people who survived the sword found favor in the wilderness; Israel, when it went to find rest for him.

From far away Yahweh appeared to me: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with steadfast love.”

Again I will build you, and you will be built, O virgin Israel; again you will adorn yourself with your tambourines and go out in the dance of those who celebrate.

Again you will plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; planters will plant and enjoy them.

For there will be a day when watchmen will call out on the hill country of Ephraim, ‘Rise up, and let us go up to Zion, to Yahweh our God.’
