Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away; say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.”

For Yahweh has redeemed Jacob and ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he.

They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion, and they will stream to the goodness of Yahweh, to the grain, the new wine, and the fresh oil, and to the young of the flock and the herd. Their life will be like a well-watered garden, and they will never again waste away.

Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, and young men and old men together; and I will turn their mourning into gladness, and I will comfort them and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my goodness, declares Yahweh.
