1Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said:

2If someone ventures to speak to you, will you become weary? But who can hold back words?

3Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands.

4Your words have raised up the one who stumbles, and you have strengthened knees that were giving way.

5But now it comes to you, and you are weary; it touches you, and you are dismayed.

6Is not your fear your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope?
