Graphic Bible · Scene 11 of 14

In a foreign land, scattered survivors startle and stumble at a wind-driven leaf on an empty road, supporting one another while distant foreign towers loom. 36As for those of you who remain, I will bring faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a driven leaf will pursue them; they will flee as one flees from the sword, and they will fall when no one is pursuing.

37They will stumble over one another as if before a sword, though no one is pursuing; and you will have no power to stand before your enemies.

38You will perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies will consume you.

39And those of you who remain will waste away in the lands of your enemies because of their iniquity; and also because of the iniquities of their fathers with them they will waste away.
