Graphic Bible · Scene 8 of 14

Families crowd inside a besieged city while exactly ten women share one small clay oven and divide scarce bread by bronze scale weight. Enemy weapons remain silhouettes beyond the wall; caregivers tend feverish neighbors. No battle, corpses, disease lesions, blood, starvation bodies, or visible deity.
