Graphic Bible · Scene 15 of 17

An ordinary Israelite gently leads one healthy unblemished female lamb toward the sanctuary courtyard. The young sheep is woolly, hornless, and fully visible in profile, clearly distinct from a goat. A white-linen priest and broad bronze altar wait in the distance; no hand laid yet.
