Graphic Bible · Scene 7 of 17

At a clean ash dump well outside the distant Israelite camp, two ordinary linen-clad men tend a wood fire consuming the covered remains of the bull. The remains are mostly hidden beneath a plain woven carrying cloth and low flames; a hide edge and bundled legs establish the prescribed disposal without exposed gore. Camp tents appear far away.
