Graphic Bible · Scene 12 of 13

In the holy courtyard, two white-linen priests carry out the vessel rules side by side: one breaks a used earthenware cooking pot cleanly into several large shards on a stone surface, while the other scours and rinses a sturdy bronze pot with water. A few adult male priests wait for their holy portion in the background. No food splatter, blood, gore, women, children, or modern brushes.
