Leviticus 9:23-24
Fire before the whole congregation
The Glory Appears · Leviticus 9
Story guide: Moses and Aaron emerge together from the tent of meeting and bless the vast congregation as a radiant but non-figural golden cloud fills the sanctuary entrance. A concentrated supernatural flame streams from the sanctuary toward the broad bronze altar and consumes only the prepared offering and fat portions. The people shout with joy and bow face-down in ordered rows. No humanoid deity, faces in cloud, casualties, panic, wildfire, gore, or text.
