Story guide: Self-examination must come before trying to correct a brother.

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.

For with the judgment by which you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure by which you measure, it will be measured to you.

But why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, yet do not notice the beam in your own eye?

Or how will you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

Hypocrite, first remove the beam from your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
