And you shall mark out for yourselves the eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham.

Then the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down and reach the slope of the Sea of Kinnereth on the east.

Then the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its end shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders all around.

Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the land that you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half-tribe.”

For the tribe of the sons of Reuben, by their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have taken their inheritance.

The two tribes and the half-tribe have taken their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward, toward the sunrise.
