Revelation 2:4-7

First love repentance and tree of life

To Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum and Thyatira · Revelation 2

Story guide: The call is to return to first love. Branham’s Ephesian Church Age sermon emphasizes this distinction between loving devotion and mere labor.

4But I have this against you: you have abandoned your first love.

5Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the works you did at first. But if not, I am coming to you, and I will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

6But this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
