31But Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not attain to that law.
32Why? Because it was not from faith, but as if from works. They stumbled over the stone of stumbling,
33As it is written, “Look, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and the one who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
