Silver Gold and Purple

The Night Search and the Royal Procession · Song of Songs 3

Story guide: Silver, gold, and purple build a picture of the palanquin's richness, while its interior is associated with love and Jerusalem's daughters. Notice the metallic posts and soft seat fabric. The close view makes material splendor tangible, but the unusual phrase 'inlaid with love' remains poetry rather than a literal construction detail.
