Through the Streets

The Night Search and the Royal Procession · Song of Songs 3

Story guide: The woman resolves to rise and search through streets and marketplaces, but the repeated outcome is still absence. The empty lane makes that repetition visible. Her longing now reaches beyond the bed into the city, giving the search a wider space without explaining why the beloved is missing.
