Found and Held

The Night Search and the Royal Procession · Song of Songs 3

Story guide: The woman says she found her beloved just after passing the watchmen and held him tightly. The embrace at the doorway makes relief and determination visible. Her mother's house is the destination named in the verse; the picture does not turn that private longing into a wedding or introduce unseen relatives.
