Artwork is an interpretation. Scripture is quoted from the People's Open Bible.

Song of Songs 6:12

Among the Chariots

My Beloved Is Mine · Song of Songs 6

Story guide: The speaker describes an unexpected movement among chariots, but the verse leaves the circumstances difficult to determine. Notice the distant chariots and the woman's viewpoint in the image. Their sweeping motion visualizes surprise; her presence is an artistic choice, not proof of the speaker's identity, a battle, or an abduction.
