Graphic Bible · Scene 7 of 12
Song of Songs 7:7-9
Palm and Clusters
Desire and the Vineyards · Song of Songs 7
Story guide: The praising voice compares the woman with a palm tree and speaks of climbing it, then adds fruit and apple fragrance. Notice the tall trunk and ripe clusters. The garden imagery expresses embodied desire through height, touch, taste, and scent; it is an intimate comparison rather than an account of harvesting.

8Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like clusters.
9I said, “I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its branches. May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the fragrance of your nose like apples.”
