Graphic Bible · Scene 6 of 11

Exodus 8:12-15. Dust and gnats. Inside the established Egyptian audience hall, Pharaoh sits tense on his throne, matching his reference. Two unnamed Egyptian court magicians in simple fine white linen, shaved heads and modest collars stand below the dais, shielding eyes and scratching their necks as dense tiny gnats cluster around faces and wrists. One magician extends an empty palm toward Pharaoh in helpless acknowledgment; no glowing magic or supernatural body part. An attendant near a column brushes insects from his arm. Gnats are very tiny dark specks, not large flies. Use the palace reference for architecture only; no Moses or Aaron in this moment. Pharaoh refuses to yield. Coherent natural anatomy, cinematic medium-wide framing, no text. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.

14And the magicians did the same by their secret arts to bring out the gnats, but they were not able; and the gnats were on man and on beast.

15Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, just as Yahweh had spoken.
