Graphic Bible · Scene 5 of 12

Exodus 9:11-12. Unable to stand. In a shaded side bay of the established Egyptian audience hall, two unnamed Egyptian magicians are unable to stand because of painful boils. They sit low on stone benches at left and center, shaved heads, plain white linen and modest collars, visibly exhausted. One cradles his forearm, the other bends forward with hand on knee. Restrained small raised reddish skin spots on forearms and necks, intact skin, no open sores or blood. Pharaoh in established nemes and white linen sits rigidly on throne in right background. Use palace reference for architecture only, no Moses or Aaron copied from it. Dignified depiction of suffering and refusal, natural anatomy, medium-wide composition, no gnats or flies, no lettering or visible deity. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.
