Graphic Bible · Scene 9 of 17

An adult man and woman each show a few dull pale spots on their forearms to a white-linen priest in bright natural light. The priest reassures them that the harmless rash is clean, and both people visibly relax. Fully clothed, ordinary skin texture, no spreading lesions, white hair, raw flesh, blood, fear, social exclusion, or modern medical setting.
