Song of Songs 6:4

Lovely as Jerusalem

My Beloved Is Mine · Song of Songs 6

Story guide: The beloved praises the woman through two cities and the imposing sight of bannered armies. Notice the hill-city skyline and flags in the artwork. These images give beauty a sense of grandeur and power: his admiration includes awe, while the verse's military comparison does not announce a battle.
