Like the Dawn

My Beloved Is Mine · Song of Songs 6

Story guide: An admiring question describes the woman through dawn, moon, sun, and bannered armies. Notice the rising light, pale moon, and banners around her silhouette. The images gather radiance and majesty into one impression; the verse does not name the speaker of this question, so its voice remains open.
