To the Countryside

Desire and the Vineyards · Song of Songs 7

Story guide: The woman invites her beloved to leave for the countryside and spend the night among the villages. Notice the open path and distant settlements behind the lovers. The walking figures visualize her invitation's possibility; the verse itself is a proposal to go together, rather than a record that the journey happened.
