Early in the Vineyards

Desire and the Vineyards · Song of Songs 7

Story guide: The woman continues her invitation with an early visit to budding vines and pomegranates, promising love there. Notice the couple attending to the new growth. The inspection of blossoms joins the song's recurring spring imagery with her active desire, while the artwork makes an invitation visible without supplying a later outcome.
