Song of Songs 8:2
Spiced Pomegranate Wine
A Love Many Waters Cannot Quench · Song of Songs 8
Story guide: The woman imagines bringing her beloved into her mother's house and offering spiced pomegranate wine. Notice the cup, cut fruit, and sheltered interior. They make her welcome tangible, continuing the wish of the previous verse; the scene illustrates her invitation without introducing her mother as a speaking character.
