A Love Many Waters Cannot Quench · Song of Songs 8

Story guide: The woman returns to the image of the beloved's left hand beneath her head and his right hand embracing her. Notice the supportive arms in the picture. The repetition recalls chapter 2, bringing the song back to a familiar expression of tenderness rather than requiring a new stage in a historical relationship.
